Kanyari rants ‘paka ya msituni ni ya msituni’ as Mosiria directs Marion Naipei inquiries to him

Mosiria was the first to post, referencing an issue he handled recently before stepping back and telling netizens that all inquiries and tags relating to the matter should now be directed to Kanyari, who is now in charge.
He likened his withdrawal to Pontius Pilate washing his hands.
“Jameni mimi niliosha mikono zangu kitambo kama Pontius Pilate!” he said, adding that going forward, all questions and mentions of the matter should be addressed to Prophet Kanyari, whom he identified as the person now in charge.
“Maswali zote na tags should now be directed to Prophet Kanyari. He’s in charge. Acha nimeze Brufen nilale ama vipi majamaa? (All questions and tags on the issue should be directed to Kanyari, who is in charge,” he added.
He did not mention any name or the issue in question in his statement on February 5, 2026, with netizens speculating, only for Kanyari to also put out another statement that left many with more questions.
In a statement on his social media accounts, Kanyari used the analogy of a wild cat that cannot be domesticated and asserted that he is tired and is consequently sending the cat back into the wild.
“Paka ya msituni ni ya msituni rudi msituni nimechoka…” Kanyari wrote on Facebook on Thursday, February 5, 2026, without mentioning any name.
This loosely translates to: “A wild cat belongs to the wild; go back to the wild. I am tired.”
Mosiria enquires more
Mosiria responded to Kanyari’s statement, seeking to know if the cat in question had retreated to the wild, sending netizens into a guessing frenzy.
“Kwani imerudi msituni tena! (Has the cat gone back to the wild again!),” Mosiria asked in response to Kanyari’s statement.
The pair did not mention any name or make direct reference to the issue in question, leaving netizens guessing.
Why Mosiria stepped back
Mosiria has in the recent past, intervened in several cases highlighted on his social media platforms and worshipped at Kanyari’s church on January 18, 2026.
Mosiria recently his decision to step back from a matter he had intervened in, citing guidance from God after fasting for three days.
“God was telling me through the people that you should keep away from it. I stepped aside; I fasted for two or three days and got the message,” Mosiria said during an interview on Saturday, January 31, 2026.
