I’ve been sick: Pritty Vishy speaks on her brief social media absence

The last update made by the content creator was on Monday, February 2, 2026.
Vishy, who resurfaced on Friday, February 6, 2026, announced that she has been unwell since then.
“I have been sick since Monday night” Vishy wrote, on social media as she engaged her fans.
She announced her comeback with a photo showing her relaxing in a hammock chair.
The digital creator revealed that she travelled to Busia and came back sick with malaria, a trend that she has noted every time she travels to the county.
“Tell me why every time I go to Busia huwa nakuja na malaria ya kukata na shoka (I catch serious malaria) since Monday night,” Vishy said.
She recounted going for a shoot on Tuesday and having to cut it short owing to her sickness.
A day later, Vishy was at a party when she became unwell and had to seek medical attention. She was taken to a facility where she confirmed that she was suffering from malaria.
Vishy’s activities online before break
Her update perhaps explains why there has been little activity across her socials for the last few days.
Prior to the break, Vishy was active on social media with a statement confirming her fallout with former friend Rebecca Akinyi being among her last updates.
“Just to clear the air, I am no longer friends with, close to, or in contact with Rebecca Akinyi,” she stated.
Pritty explained that the two were once good friends and shared moments she genuinely appreciated, adding that she always respected Becky’s privacy.
She revealed that their friendship first went quiet when Becky moved to Dubai and cut off communication, a decision she accepted without resentment, but they later reconciled.
“We made peace, and I welcomed her back with no bad feelings,” Pritty said.
The final fallout between Beck & Pritty Vishy
The truce did not last as they soon parted ways when Becky took a different direction with her online content.
“Eventually, she chose to go in a different direction with her content, which in itself was not an issue for me. But later on, certain things happened, and the type of content she chose to put out online did not sit well with me or align with my values.”
Following the split, Vishy clarified that whatever Becky posts or does online has nothing to do with her, stressing that they are no longer friends, and she should not be associated with her or her activities in any way.”
Her activities online also included engaging her former lover Stevo Simple Boy in an online feud that dragged on for several days.
The feud was sparked by the singer questioning Vishy’s status as a celebrity during an interview.
