Polish, Kenya-based content creator Mzungu Fresh has set the record straight following a misunderstanding over comments he made about a recent robbery.

In a video shared on his Instagram on Thursday, December 25, 2025, he explained that his initial statements were made in a moment of frustration and while slightly tipsy, and that he does not blame Kenyans for the incident.

Speaking to his followers, Mzungu Fresh said, “It’s 100% my own mistake. I just lost focus for a moment, and this is a lesson for me. It can happen anywhere in Europe, the States, Africa, South America, everywhere.”

He further emphasised that his love for Kenya remains unchanged, thanking fans for their support and festive greetings.

The robbery involved the theft of his phone and other personal items, including perfumes valued at around Ksh20,000.

He admitted that he was slightly tipsy when recording his initial message, which contributed to the misunderstanding, and acknowledged the emotional toll of the betrayal.

“When I was recording this message, I was just mad and a little bit tipsy, so that was the first time something like that happened to me,” he said, noting the emotional toll of betrayal.

Mzungu Fresh previously opened up about the robbery in an earlier post, describing how the event left him questioning his sense of belonging and safety in Kenya.

While the financial loss was limited, the experience left Mzungu Fresh reflecting on trust, betrayal, and his sense of belonging in Kenya.

Despite the setback, he reiterated his appreciation for the Kenyan community and his continued efforts to integrate into local culture.

“I still love this place. Thank you for all the messages. I just realised how many people like watching my content. Asante, guys, and Merry Christmas,” he concluded.

Mzungu Fresh’s clarification has helped clear up the confusion, reassuring fans that his comments were a momentary lapse rather than a critique of the country or its people.
