Huddah opens up on how she lost her front teeth
By William Muthama, December 14, 2025Socialite and entrepreneur Huddah Monroe has revealed the harrowing story behind the loss of her front teeth and the challenges she faced growing up.
In a series of Instagram posts on Sunday, December 14, 2025, Huddah shared that she lost her teeth at the age of 14 in a major accident that almost claimed her life.
Coming from a family with limited means, she noted that her parents could not afford to fix her teeth, making her high school years especially difficult.
“High school was brutal. Mockery, isolation, silent pain,” she wrote. She expressed that while she was academically bright, being top of her class only added to the ridicule she endured. “As a child, that shit was difficult,” she admitted.
Struggles with confidence
Even after completing high school, Huddah highlighted that she struggled with confidence, often hiding her mouth whenever she laughed or smiled.

She said that these experiences left lasting emotional scars, shaping how she interacted with people in public.
Huddah expressed that her story took a positive turn when she received help to restore her teeth, describing the gesture as life-changing. “Then God sent me an angel,” she said, highlighting how this support gave her a new outlook on life.
Unexpected blessings
She further noted that shortly after her dental treatment, a stranger gifted her her first-ever car, a Range Rover worth Ksh13 million. Huddah expressed that this unexpected act of kindness marked the beginning of her journey to success.

Huddah shared that hardship does not cancel one’s destiny and that what breaks a person can still help build them.
She emphasised that even during painful chapters, one should not quit, as help and healing will come, and that eventually, their story can inspire others.
“I learnt that hardship doesn’t cancel your destiny. What breaks you can still build you. If you’re in your painful chapter, don’t quit. Help will come. Healing will come. And one day, your story will inspire someone else,” she said
