Hanna Benta confirms Samir as father of her child months after denial

In a heartfelt post on Sunday, March 8, 2026, Benta explained that her earlier denial was motivated by a desire to protect her peace, but that her priority now is ensuring the well-being of her child.
“Yes, the story is true,” she wrote, addressing the speculation that had circulated in the media and on social platforms. She said that becoming a mother reshaped her priorities, noting that her child’s future and emotional security now come before her personal pride.
“When you become a mother, your pride takes a back seat,” Benta explained. “I promised myself that I would never let my child experience the void of growing up without a father’s love, something I deeply understand.”
Benta reflected on why she initially denied Samir’s paternity, noting that at the time, the two were no longer in a relationship. She said the denial was a way to protect her emotional peace while navigating public scrutiny and media attention.
During that period, she had also faced accusations of cheating, while Samir maintained he was the father and offered to provide support, including baby name suggestions.
“Denying it before was me trying to protect my peace. Speaking up now is me protecting my child’s future,” she said, emphasising that her priority has shifted to the child rather than her own personal pride.
Benta also expressed willingness to co-parent, provided that Samir is ready to take responsibility and actively participate in their child’s life.
“If Samir is ready to step up, be present, and provide… then I say YES to co-parenting,” she wrote, highlighting that her focus is on raising a happy, loved, and well-provided-for child.
Hannah Benta and Captain Samir broke up in early June 2025, with Samir accusing her of dating multiple people and being unfaithful while they were together.
