Goria Kyallo has opened up about feeling deeply attached to objects, revealing how losing her couch left her sad and emotional.

She said on Saturday December 27, 2025, that the couch is gone, even though she knows she is supposed to be happy, but her feelings say otherwise.

“So, guys, I am just thinking about something and how I am feeling a bit sad,” Goria said.

She explained that the couch had already found a new owner and that she has always had a habit of forming attachments to objects.

“I am supposed to be happy, but I am like so sad and usually get attached to animated objects,” she explained.

She admits the feeling is hard to explain, but very real to her, and she gave an example to show how deep this attachment goes.

“Take this, for example,” she said while showing a doll, “His name is James, by the way,” she adds, explaining that the doll has stayed with her for years.

“So I got it from an ex like 2018, and I can’t get rid of it,” she said while admitting this is not the only item she struggles to let go of, “I actually… I get so attached to things,” she added.

Objects holding memories

She explained that the couch was more than just furniture in her home.

“That couch celebrated so many birthdays with me,” Goria said that it carried memories from different moments in her life, making it hard to accept its absence.

Goria said the emotions surprised her.

“I don’t know, I feel so bad,” she explained. She added that the loss felt personal. “I feel like I have given up a part of myself,” she said.

She described how painful it was to watch the couch leave. Despite knowing it has no emotions, the moment still hit hard.

“It is so sad to see a thing that was part of your life for a long time just cease to exist,” Goria explained.

She admitted she understands the logic behind it and that “it is just a couch and I get that.”
