Esther Musila explains why ‘for richer, for poorer’ was left out of their wedding vows

Taking to her official Instagram account on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, Musila explained why “for richer, for poorer” did not feature in theirs.
According to Musila, the couple deliberately chose not to declare “for poorer” because they do not believe in confessing lack or hardship in their marriage. Instead, they focused on abundance, growth, and well-being.
“For better, for richer, in health! Our vows had no’ for richer for poorer’, because we do not confess that!! It is: For richer. For health. For Better,” she explained.
Wedding anniversary
The couple celebrated their 6th wedding anniversary on Sunday, January 4, 2026, which was also Guardian Angel’s birthday.
Taking to her official Instagram account, Musila has shared a heartfelt birthday message for her husband, Guardian Angel, expressing her love, gratitude, and admiration.
She described him as her best friend, confidant, and a blessing in her life, celebrating their relationship and the joy he brings her every day.
In her message, Esther praised the small but meaningful gestures that define their bond.
“Happy birthday, my love, my G, my best friend, my cherished friend, my confidant,” she wrote.
She said she is grateful for the laughter, love, and companionship they share as she reflected on the ways Guardian Angel has supported her through life.
“Thank you for the late-night laughs and the early morning kisses you shower me with,” she said.
Esther added that his humility and constant support have made her life richer and more joyful.
Esther highlighted the memorable moments they have shared.
