Dyana Cods explains why she won’t respond to Maandy’s diss track

By , March 6, 2026

Kenyan rapper Dyana Cods has addressed the viral diss track released by fellow rapper Maandy, but fans hoping for a rap battle might be disappointed.

Taking to her official Instagram account, a few hours after Maandy dropped her diss track, on Friday, March 6, 2026, Dyana Cods dismissed the song and explained why she has no plans to release a response.

According to the rapper, the track is simply not strong enough to deserve a reply.

Dyana Cods also escalated the tension by saying she would only engage in a rap battle with Silverstone Barz, claiming the rapper is the only one in her league.

Diss track iko chini kama economy ya Nigeria ndio mnangoja reply Heri nidiss silverstone bars ju ako league yangu hao wengine wakaoshe vyombo Qatar. New music coming,”Cods stated,

She further added that she had almost thought the diss track was actually a love song dedicated to her.

Karibu nidhani nimededicatiwa love song,” she added.

Maandy’s response to Cods

On the other hand, Maandy took a swipe at Dyana Cods, implying that her ghostwriter was unavailable to help her craft a response, which is why she had not released a diss track to fire back.

“Ghost writer amekataa kushika simu ama, Anyways Cinderella endelea kujifinyilia kwa kiatu 🥹❤️#SIDEHII Out ,”Maandy stated.

Maandy’s diss track

Maandy dropped an explosive new diss track titled ‘Side Hii’ on Friday, March 6, 2026, as the beef between the two female rappers escalates.

In a series of ruthless verses, Maandy leaves no doubt about who she believes sits on the throne, delivering a stinging three-word hook that has since gone viral.

Sikutambui, Sikujui, Sikuskii, (I don’t recognise you, I don’t know you, I don’t hear you),” Maandy raps.

The track’s aggressive production provides the perfect backdrop for Maandy’s lyrical onslaught. By repeating the hook – “I don’t know you, I don’t hear you” – she effectively attempts to erase her rival from the conversation entirely.

The beef

The feud between Maandy and Dyana Cods has been simmering for months, with fans frequently debating which of the two holds the coveted title of the ‘No. 1 Kenyan Baddie’.

Maandy’s diss track now represents a sharp departure from subtle jabs on social media to direct combat.
