Diana Marua recalls being evicted from house she paid rent by ex-boyfriend

Speaking candidly in an episode aired on Friday, April 10, 2026, Diana reflected on heartbreak and self-worth, encouraging people not to lose themselves in relationships.
“Heartbreak is not the end of the world,” Diana said, adding that many people go through situations where they give their all but still feel unappreciated.
She revealed that she once experienced a difficult moment where she was evicted from a house despite being the one paying the rent.
“Mimi nimelia, ushawai ona wewe ndio unalipa bills na unafanya kila kitu lakini bado unathulumiwa, bado unakneel down and ask for forgiveness, mimi nimewai fukuzwa kwa nyumba, mimi ndio nimelipa rent,” she revealed, describing how hurtful the situation was.
The YouTuber further shared that things became even more painful when another woman was brought into the same space shortly after.
“Nimefukuzwa na dem mwengine akaletwa akalala in the same bed,” she added.

Diana on self-worth
Using her experience as a lesson, Diana urged her audience to understand their worth and protect their emotional well-being.
Additionally, she advised people not to stay in relationships that emotionally drain them.
“Guys, let me tell you, know your value and then add tax to it. If someone loves you, he/she will not emotionally drain you,” she advised.
In addition, Diana added that anyone who emotionally exhausts you is not the right person for you.
“Na kama anaku exhausts; I can tell you for free that it is not meant to be yours,” Diana added.

She encouraged fans going through heartbreak to remain strong, reminding them that better days are ahead.
“Heartbreak is good, but that is not the end of the world. There are better people out here.”
“Your bright side of life is on the side of the heartbreak, so panguza machozi, look yourself in the mirror and tell yourself, ‘I am the one, I am it, I am the bag’,” she stated.
Current love partner
Diana also reflected on her current relationship, praising her husband, Bahati, and expressing gratitude for where she is today.
“Mimi Bahati is everything in my life; this guy wasted my time. I would have met Bahati Kitambo; we will be clocking 12-15 years,” she pointed out, adding that she feels her past relationship delayed her from meeting the right person earlier.
“He wasted my time and my hard-earned money.”
