Natalie Asewe, long-time partner to content creator Crazy Kennar, has opened up about her deeply personal journey through grief, faith, and restoration.

In a heartfelt post on Thursday, December 25, 2025, Natalie recounted the devastating loss of her first son in December 2023, who passed away after just seven days in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). The brief time she had with her son left an indelible mark, testing her resilience and faith.

Natalie described the moment she was told her son would not survive as the hardest day of her life, a season that broke her but also taught her how to live with a heart full of sorrow while holding onto hope.

Natalie shared that she had to navigate immense grief, learning to process the pain of carrying and delivering a child she would never raise.

She expressed how faith can be both painful and sustaining, allowing her to endure moments of unimaginable heartbreak while still finding the strength to move forward.

“Seven days. That’s how long I held my son here on earth… The day my title changed to a mother who lost her child,” she wrote

Fast forward to July 2025, Natalie welcomed her newborn daughter, whom she describes as her “rainbow baby” and a living testament to God’s restoration.

She framed her daughter as a divine blessing, handpicked by her late brother in heaven, and celebrated the arrival as a moment of healing and hope.

Through her reflections, she emphasised gratitude, acknowledging the coexistence of sorrow and joy, grief and restoration.

Her message highlighted the enduring significance of her late son, affirming that his life mattered and continues to matter, while her daughter is a miracle, not a replacement.

Natalie also drew on scripture, referencing Joel 2:25 and Psalm 30:5, to convey how hope and renewal can follow profound loss.

“To my son: thank you for making me a mother. Your life mattered. You still matter. To my daughter: you are not a replacement, you are a miracle,” she stated

The post was accompanied by touching photographs, including images of her holding her daughter and a throwback from her pregnancy.
