Crazy Kennar names fatherhood as his biggest highlight this year

In an interview on Saturday, December 13, 2025, he said, “I have like two. The first one is getting a daughter. Yeah, yeah, that one was a great achievement.”
He reflected on how having a daughter has made him rethink some aspects of his life, noting that it has softened his masculinity and made him more thoughtful.
“I have noticed when you have a daughter, you kind of tone down your masculinity because when I look at her…saa zingine namuangalia nikikuja wozaa…naona ananza kulia. Naenda na rethink narudi,” he explained.
He described the experience as wonderful and added that his daughter, now four months old, is very beautiful, even surprising him with her charm.
Crazy Kennar and his long-time partner, Natalie Asewe, welcomed their newborn baby girl in August, marking a joyous moment for the couple. The birth came after the heartbreaking loss of their son in 2023, a tragedy that left a deep impact on the family. The arrival of the baby girl has brought hope and renewed happiness to their lives.
Celebrating new life after loss
Natalie shared the news on social media on Sunday, August 3, 2025, with a heartfelt message that honoured their late child. She wrote that the newborn had been handpicked from heaven by their late son, expressing joy and gratitude for what she described as a divine blessing.
“Handpicked for earth by her brother in heaven,” she shared, accompanied by a rainbow and heart emoji. Natalie also declared that she was presenting the child before God as a testimony of restoration, entrusting her to His blessings and grace.
Crazy Kennar reflected on the personal growth fatherhood has brought him. He explained that having a daughter has made him more thoughtful and that moments with her are filled with wonder.
He said, “That was actually a wonderful experience. She is actually now 4 months old, she is very beautiful, even me, I wonder.”
