Chebet Ronoh has made a strong personal declaration saying she no longer fears human beings.

In a video shared on Instagram on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, she said something inside her changed in June 2025 and shaped how she now views fear, strength, and life. She said fearing people is no longer part of who she is.

Ronoh said, “Something shifted in me on the 29th of June.” She explained that the change made her confront fear directly and strip it of power.

She added, “I am only afraid of my shadow, and even that I sit with and contain,” showing that even her smallest fear is one she controls.

She went on to say, “Fearing humans is the last thing I will ever do.”

Ronoh said that people no longer intimidate her in any way. She said this shift came after years of holding back and enduring situations that tested her limits.

Ronoh described her current state as one of full awakening.

“Let me tell you guys, hakuna kitu naogopa,” she said, stressing that fear no longer guides her decisions.

She added that even death does not scare her, saying, “I am not even afraid of death.”

Awakening and drawing the line

She explained that this awakening came with clarity and resolve.

“It is when you finally awaken, you awaken all the disrespect, you awaken all the silencing,” she said.

Ronoh stated that she now faces life head-on without shrinking herself to please others. She said she is no longer willing to accept mistreatment.

“For years, I have taken people’s blows,” she said, noting that she stayed quiet for a long time.

She added that this chapter has ended, and she is no longer absorbing harm in silence.

She issued a firm warning to anyone who may try to cross her boundaries.

“If you think you can take advantage of me, my kindness, you can take advantage of anything, you can play in my face? Utashangaa sana my friend.

Ronoh described her new stance as one of total readiness. “Right now it is war,” she said, emphasising that she will defend herself without hesitation, “Anyone who plays about me, it is freaking war.”

Ronoh said she is standing fully in her power, unafraid, awake, and ready to face whatever comes her way.
