Wavinya Ndeti shares proud moment as son earns master’s degree with distinction
By William Muthama, August 22, 2026Machakos Governor Wavinya Ndeti has celebrated a major family milestone after her son, Daniel Kitone Oduwole, graduated with a Master of Science in Management with Distinction from HULT International Business School.
In a heartfelt message shared on her X account on Saturday, August 22, 2026, Ndeti congratulated Daniel on his academic achievement, praising his hard work, discipline and determination.
“Your hard work, discipline, and determination have made us immensely proud. Your siblings and I celebrate you and this remarkable milestone,” she wrote.
The governor said she hoped the achievement would mark the beginning of greater success and fulfilment in her son’s life.

Ndeti also paid tribute to her late husband, saying she believed he would be proud of their son’s achievement.
“Dad is smiling with pride and happiness as he continues to watch over us from above. His love and legacy live on through all of us,” she said.
Daniel’s Academic Journey
The latest achievement adds to Daniel’s growing list of academic milestones. He previously graduated from Brookhouse Schools in 2022, earning distinctions in an International Level 3 Extended Diploma, equivalent to three A-levels.

In September 2025, Ndeti also publicly celebrated her son after another graduation from HULT International Business School.
Daniel’s academic achievements have been accompanied by those of his siblings. His sister Alika Oduwole graduated from Brookhouse in 2024, earning three distinctions in Business, matching her brother’s earlier achievement.
In 2022, Ndeti also celebrated her daughter, Mary Nzuki, after she graduated with a Law degree from Strathmore University.
Beyond academics, Daniel has also developed an interest in martial arts. In December 2025, Ndeti congratulated him after he won a Muay Thai contest in Thailand, praising his discipline, strength and technical ability.
