Vicker Munez: Oga Obinna’s bodyguard elated as Harmonize visits years after working for him
By Steve Ireri, September 10, 2026Oga Obinna’s bodyguard Vicker Munez has reunited with Tanzanian singer Harmonize years after working for the artiste, with the former security aide appearing to slip back into his old role as he welcomed the singer to Kenya.
Vicker shared a photograph on Thursday, September 10, 2026, showing him engaged in a lively conversation with Harmonize inside their studio, with the two appearing relaxed as they smiled and enjoyed each other’s company.
The reunion offered a glimpse into the longstanding relationship between Vicker and Harmonize, who previously worked together before Vicker became part of comedian and media personality Oga Obinna’s team.
The studio moment came after Vicker had earlier joined a group of people, including several YouTubers, to welcome Harmonize at the airport following his arrival in the country.
In the video, Vicker could be seen walking alongside the singer as they made their way through the airport, with Harmonize dressed in black while Vicker stood out in an all-white outfit.
Vicker also appeared to instinctively resume his former duties around the singer, carrying Harmonize’s bags as the group made its way towards the waiting convoy.
The reunion at the airport created a striking picture of Vicker momentarily returning to the role he once occupied while working for Harmonize, this time welcoming the singer alongside other members of the Kenyan entertainment scene.

After accompanying Harmonize from the airport, the group proceeded to the waiting convoy, with Vicker remaining close to the singer as they prepared to leave.
Before the airport welcome, Vicker had already teased Harmonize’s arrival in a playful post that appeared to leave little doubt about the singer’s whereabouts.
He shared a video of himself holding a striking red bouquet of roses featuring a photograph of Harmonize, using the unusual floral arrangement as a cheeky signal that the Tanzanian star was back in town.
Vicker accompanied the video with a message telling his followers that they would know Harmonize was around if they spotted him carrying flowers and looking particularly happy.
“Ukiona hii unajua Konde yuko kwa njia,” he wrote.
The Swahili phrase, loosely translated, means that seeing Vicker with the bouquet was a sign that Konde Boy was on his way.
Harmonize, whose real name is Rajab Abdul Kahali, is popularly known by the nickname Konde Boy, a name that has remained closely associated with his music career and Konde Gang brand.
