The audacity! Nurse Judy reacts to unusual financial request sent to her inbox

On Saturday, June 6, 2026, the US-based nurse said she regularly receives messages from people asking for money, but one recent request left her surprised.
“Lakini kwa hii mtandao kunakuaga na watu mko na audacity,” Nurse Judy said.
She explained that requests for financial assistance are a common part of her online experience. According to her, many people reach out seeking support because of the difficult economic situation.
“Usually my DMs are full every day asking for money favours, which I understand coz times are hard,” Nurse Judy said.
The nurse said she understands why some people ask for help. She explained that her willingness to occasionally assist others may have contributed to the number of requests she receives.
“And of course people think I have so much money to give, because from time to time I randomly help people financially,” Nurse Judy said.
She noted that while most requests are ordinary, one message stood out because of the reason given for needing money. According to her, the person continued asking for help and even specified the exact amount required.
A request that left her stunned
“But what’s crazy?, There is someone persistently asking for help and specifying she needs $36 (about Ksh4,700). Do you know for what? For abort!on,” Nurse Judy said.
She explained that the request caught her off guard because she did not expect someone to approach her for that purpose. The nurse suggested that the situation left her questioning the confidence some people have when making such requests.
Nurse Judy also reflected on the effort she puts into earning a living. She explained that her work requires long hours and personal sacrifice, making the request even harder for her to understand.
“Like I’m here suffering through 12-hour shifts, as you enjoy stick and now make your consequences my emergency, wow,” Nurse Judy said.
The nurse appeared frustrated by the situation and said she could not relate to the confidence displayed in the message. She suggested that the level of boldness shown by the person was something she found remarkable.
“In my next life, may God give me such AUDACITY,” Nurse Judy said.
