Stevo Simple Boy reveals why his beef with Pritty Vishy will never end

Kenyan rapper Stevo Simple Boy has opened up about his long-running beef with his former partner, Purity Vishenwa, alias Pritty Vishy, saying their differences are unlikely to end anytime soon.

Speaking about the possibility of the two settling their differences during a candid conversation with the Mic Cheque podcast, Stevo said their beef runs deeper than a disagreement that can easily be resolved by outsiders.

“Beef haitasolvika. Unajua beef yetu hakuna mtu anaweza ingilia,” Stevo said.

The rapper also addressed Pritty Vishy’s acceptance of his boxing challenge, revealing that he had proposed a boxing match between them and that she agreed to it.

“Yes, of course,” Stevo said when asked whether he would agree to box Pritty if given the opportunity.

However, Stevo maintained that the two getting into the ring would not necessarily resolve their differences.

When asked whether boxing would bring an end to their beef, he responded, “Beef haitasolvika.”

Ambassadorial deal

Stevo also explained why he turned down a business deal which he was supposed to work alongside Pritty.

According to the rapper, a man who had opened a barber shop approached him with an idea of having Stevo and Pritty serve as ambassadors for the business.

Stevo said he was not comfortable with the proposal because of his strained relationship with Pritty and did not want to enter into a business arrangement with someone he was not on good terms with.

“Kuna jamaa fulani alifungua barber shop so alikuwa anataka tukuwe ambassador mimi na Pritty Vishy na mimi siwezi kubali mwenye hatuelewani tunafanya deal na yeye pamoja, hiyo haiwezi,” he said.

Stevo further claimed that Pritty misunderstood the amount of money involved, saying she thought hearing about Ksh1 million meant the deal had already been finalised.

“Pritty vile alisikia million moja alifikiria ni deal imekamilika na haikuwa deal yenyewe,” he said.

Boxing challenge

Stevo also revisited comments he previously made about fighting Pritty, clarifying that while he could agree to a physical contest if she wanted one, he believes there are boundaries when it comes to a man fighting a woman.

“I said it but I did not mean it,” Stevo said, adding that he could fight if Pritty insisted but would not be defeated.

He nevertheless stressed that he did not believe it was appropriate for a man to box a woman.

“Lakini haikubaliki mwanamume kubox na mwanamke,” he said.

Stevo denies romance

The rapper also disputed the idea that his past relationship with Pritty was based on genuine romantic feelings.

When asked why the two were beefing despite having previously been romantically linked, Stevo claimed that there was never genuine love between them.

“Hapo hakukuwa na mapenzi; Pritty alikuwa anataka tu umarufu,” he said.

Stevo, however, said there were several things about their fallout that he had chosen not to reveal publicly.

“Kuna vitu mingi siwezi sema juu mimi. Napenda heshima na upendo so kumchafulia jina haita make sense so mimi niliamua tu kunyamaza,” he added.
