Stephen Kasolo leaves Oscar Sudi elated after inviting him to the dance floor during Yatta event

Kasolo’s moment with Sudi unfolded on Sunday, September 20, 2026, after the singer took to the stage at a fundraiser held at the Kikesa DCC grounds in Ikombe Ward, where he delivered a spirited performance that left guests and politicians visibly entertained.
The singer had been given an opportunity to perform when he stepped onto the podium and launched into a series of songs, quickly getting the crowd involved as he showcased his energetic performance style.
The mood became even more animated when Kasolo began performing his latest release, Wathi Wa Muvea, and decided to bring some of the high-profile guests into the performance.
Kasolo urged Sudi and the host of the event, Hon. Annastacia Muthini Muendo, to join him on the podium so they could dance to the song.
The two accepted the invitation, with Kasolo then taking on the role of dance instructor as he demonstrated several moves for the politician and other guests to follow.
Sudi appeared to enjoy the unexpected moment, attempting some of the dance moves Kasolo was showing them as the singer continued performing his latest song.
What started as a performance quickly turned into a lively dance session, with other politicians, clergy members and guests moving towards the front of the stage and joining Kasolo, Sudi and Muendo.
Kasolo was accompanied by three energetic dancers dressed in matching outfits, who added even more energy to the performance as they vigorously danced alongside the singer.
Their energetic routines further drew the guests into the moment, with several politicians and other attendees joining the dancing as the performance gathered momentum.
Sudi, who appeared to be in high spirits throughout the moment, was seen trying out some of the moves demonstrated by Kasolo as the crowd watched the unusual spectacle unfold.
The politician later shared a video of the memorable moment on Facebook, where he described Kasolo’s latest song positively.
In his post, Sudi referred to Wathi Wa Muvea as a good song, appearing to express his satisfaction with the performance and the wider event.
Sudi also used the post to explain the purpose of the gathering, revealing that he had attended the fundraiser alongside several political, religious and community leaders.
“Together with Tiaty MP Hon. William Kamket, Commissioner Ben Muasya (CRA), Commissioner Jerusah Muathime (NCIC), host Hon. Annastacia Muthini Muendo, Hon. Eli Gor, MCA Oloolua, Ward Representatives from Machakos and Kitui, clergy and congregants, we attended a fundraiser at Kikesa DCC grounds, in Ikombe Ward, Yatta Constituency, Machakos County, towards the construction of the Kikesa DCC Headquarters Prayer Centre Complex that will serve 10 churches,” Sudi wrote.
The fundraiser was aimed at raising money towards the construction of the Kikesa DCC Headquarters Prayer Centre Complex, which is expected to serve 10 churches.
Sudi described the fundraising drive as an important step towards establishing a facility that would provide space for worship, prayer and fellowship.
“The funds drive is crucial in laying a firm foundation for faith, as the complex will provide a befitting sanctuary for worship, prayer and fellowship, while enhancing unity and spiritual growth across the 10 churches,” he wrote.
He concluded his message by quoting Psalm 127:1, emphasising the religious significance of the project.
“Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labour in vain – Psalm 127:1,” Sudi wrote.
