Redsan addresses claims of beating radio presenters after viral clip
By Paulette Mboga, September 14, 2026Redsan has called out reports claiming that he beat up radio presenters, dismissing the claims as fake news following a viral clip.
The clip showed Kwambox entering a room that appeared to be a studio while saying Redsan was coming. The people in the room were then seen quickly standing up and running away, leading to speculation about what the clip meant.
Redsan questioned the reports and challenged those sharing them, saying they had misunderstood the joke behind the clip. He also criticised the people he described as wannabe journalists.
“Sasa huyu ni nani?? Are you sure you know what you are reporting? Can someone please tell these wannabe play journalists to be serious with life,” Redsan said on Monday, September 14, 2026.
The musician said there were attempts to stop attention from remaining on his Redsan@30 concert. He described the concert as the best in Kenya by far and suggested that the reports about him were being used to shift attention away from it.
Redsan dismisses presenter claims
Redsan said the reports about him visiting radio presenters and doing something to them were not true. He questioned how the reports were being presented and rejected the claims about his conduct.
“SOMEONE IS TRYING VERY HARD TO STOP REDSAN 30 from trending since it has been the best CONCERT in Kenya by far, so now they came up with fake news,” Redsan said.
“About me VISITING RADIO PRESENTERS AND GOD KNOWS DOING WHAT THERE,” Redsan said.
The musician maintained that the clip should not have been interpreted as a report of an actual incident involving him and radio presenters. He said it was meant to be funny and accused those sharing the reports of using it to create a different story.
“Clearly it seems they did not understand why @kwambox even made that funny clip to begin with,” Redsan said.
Redsan also asked those spreading the reports to stop, saying the claims were affecting the mood around his Redsan@30 celebration. He called for respect while defending himself against the reports that followed the viral clip.
“RESPECT THE BADDEST, stop spreading fake news trying to kill the VIBE about redsan@30,” Redsan said.
