Oga Obinna’s employee Dappa Man reveals why he once served time in jail
Oga Obinna’s employee, content creator Dappa Man, has revealed why he once served a jail sentence in what he describes as a deeply traumatic experience.
Speaking in an interview shared by Tony Mwirigi on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, Dappa claimed that his incarceration stemmed from an incident involving a young girl within his extended family, saying he was accused of wrongdoing he insists he did not commit.
“I went to jail because of a baby girl, and the girl is a stepsister of mine. I was falsely accused because I had not done the action I was being blamed for,” he said
He explained that the matter escalated into a legal case, despite his denial, leading to his arrest and eventual jail time.
According to him, the experience completely changed how he views interactions and situations involving minors.
Dappa Man advised men in general to be extremely careful when dealing with children, saying that even innocent actions, such as playing with them or lifting them onto their shoulders in excitement, could be misunderstood and later used against them in accusations.
“Based on my experience, I would tell men to always avoid things related to little girls, even basically playing with them. Also, avoid lifting people’s children high up on your shoulders in excitement, because such things can lead you to being accused of many things,” he said.

He further noted that cases involving underage girls are extremely sensitive and difficult to defend, stressing that if a child makes an allegation, it can have life-changing consequences regardless of innocence or intent.
“Also know that there is no case as hard to deal with as that involving an underage girl. If the child says you did it, then that is the end of you, and you will go to jail,” he added.
Beyond that, he also warned men to be cautious in relationships with adult women, advising that people should always ensure they have proof or evidence when meeting or engaging in private situations, saying false accusations can also arise in such scenarios.
“So avoid baby girls. I will also add that I avoid even women who are of age. If you are dating and you agree to meet, always have evidence,” he said.
Dappa Man added that he has learned from his experience and now moves more carefully in his personal life, saying the incident served as a tough lesson that shaped his behaviour and awareness.
He also praised his employer, Oga Obinna, noting that he appreciates the guidance he receives, including being encouraged to always have evidence and protect himself in any situation, which he says has helped him professionally and personally.
“My boss always tells us to ensure we have evidence in case of anything, that’s why I love my boss because of such,” he added.
