Nurse Judy also spoke about problems involving people she trusted. She explained that a friend nearly caused serious issues with her immigration process during her stay in the United States.

“A friend almost messed up my entire immigration process,” Nurse Judy said.

The nurse further claimed that she faced difficulties at work while trying to build a life abroad. She said some of the people who employed her took advantage of her situation and failed to compensate her fairly for the work she did.

Lessons from difficult years

Nurse Judy explained that she worked extremely long hours but received very little pay in return. She said the experience taught her how difficult life could be for people trying to establish themselves in a new country.

“I was taken advantage of by fellow Kenyans group home employers that I worked for, overworked for 24 hours straight, only to be paid like $130 (About Ksh17k) for the entire shift,” Nurse Judy said.
