Nurse Judy calls out Kenyan nurses in the US over online attacks
By Paulette Mboga, August 10, 2026Kenyan nurse working abroad, Nurse Judy has called out some Kenyan nurses based in America over what she described as online attacks directed at her.
She said the issue is real and can be seen in comment sections when she is posted on blogs. Nurse Judy added that she personally avoids reading such comments because of the effect they can have on her mental health.
“Esp the Kenyan nurses based in America (Not all but a good percentage) and no I’m not the type of influencer with imaginary haters, visit my comment section, or when Im posted on blogs, the comment section ndo utajua how real it is, I personally dont read the comment section when Im posted there, but People send me screenshots (Which I hate cz its the one thing I try to avoid for my mental health),” Nurse Judy said on Monday, August 10, 2026.
She explained that she often receives screenshots from people showing her comments made about her online. According to Nurse Judy, she does not seek out the comments herself and would rather avoid them as she tries to protect her mental health. She said the attacks have also involved people identifying themselves as nurses working in America before criticising her.
“And the thing is, whenever they attack me, they always introduce themselves like ‘I’m a nurse here in America too and oh huyu nurse Judy blah blah, then go ahead to insult me or attack me. That video from that nurse, truly feel him 100% cz Kenyan nurses have attempted the same with me,’” Nurse Judy said.
Nurse Judy explains her response
Nurse Judy said she understands the experience of another nurse who spoke about a similar situation. She described the behaviour as “very diabolical” and said it was interesting to see people come at her online before reacting differently when she responds. She maintained that she is willing to respond when people bring the same energy to her page.
She added that she is aware of the professional and ethical boundaries that come with being a nurse. Nurse Judy said she knows which lines she should not cross even when responding to people who attack her online. She maintained that this awareness does not stop her from defending herself when she feels she has been targeted.
“One thing about me, I will absolutely dish back the energy you bring to MY page. The difference is, I’m very aware of my professional and ethical boundaries, and I know exactly which lines NOT to cross. So yes, trust me to clap back,” Nurse Judy said.
