Morara Kebaso explains why he considers himself excellent husband
By Paulette Mboga, September 11, 2026Political activist Morara Kebaso has described himself as a good father and an excellent husband, saying his view of himself comes from reflecting on his role within his family.
The businessman shared this personal assessment while speaking about women, marriage, and how those close to him view him.
Morara said he believes he has played an important role as both a father and husband, despite what may be said about him publicly. He explained that looking back at his life has allowed him to rank himself positively in both roles.
“When I look back, I can rank myself as a good father and an excellent husband,” Morara said on Friday, September 11, 2026.
He also spoke about the importance of women in his life and work, linking his experience as a businessman in the furniture sector to the role women play in decisions made at home. Morara said women often have a major say in choosing what to buy and where to buy it.
“As a businessman in the furniture sector, I know how important women are in the decision-making process of furnishing a home. In many cases they decide what and where to buy it from,” Morara said.
Morara on family and reputation
Morara said the way he is portrayed to Kenyan women therefore matters to him, particularly because of the possible impact on how he is viewed. He explained that negative portrayals could benefit people who want to damage his reputation.
“Therefore anything that makes me look like trash to Kenyan women is a plus for my enemies,” Morara said.
He also spoke about his new in-laws, saying he knows they are able to see what is said about him online. Morara said he appreciates the patience and understanding they have shown him despite what they may come across.
“I also know that there could be an intention to make me look ridiculous to my new in-laws because they are on the internet, and whatever you say about me, they read it. I am grateful that they have been patient and understanding with me,” Morara said.
Morara further explained that his name remains very important to him and that he considers his reputation his most valuable asset. He said he is prepared to defend it when he feels it is being damaged.
“This name is the most valuable asset I have,” Morara said.
