Miss Trudy opens up on losing baby boy in one of 6 miscarriages

Based in Ghana with her husband, Ghanaian travel content creator Wode Maya, Miss Trudy, on Monday, September 28, 2026, revealed that two of the six pregnancies she lost occurred while she was in Kenya.
She recalled one of those experiences, saying she started experiencing pain and bleeding before rushing to hospital.
“I have lost six pregnancies. I remember one of the miscarriages that I have had while here in Kenya. I started feeling pain and bleeding and rushed to the hospital, and the doctors told me it was too late; there is nothing they can do, we lost it,” Trudy recalled.
The experience left her devastated, particularly because it was the second time she had lost a pregnancy.
“I cried and felt very hopeless having lost the child the second time,” she said.
Miss Trudy said doctors then had to carry out a procedure to remove the pregnancy tissue.
“They had to clean me; they removed it, and it was a boy,” she revealed.
Miss Trudy’s six pregnancy losses
While two of the miscarriages happened in Kenya, the couple have not shared all the details surrounding each of the six losses.
Miss Trudy had previously explained why she kept details of one of her miscarriages from her family, saying she did not want to cause them additional pain and worry.
The couple eventually opened up about their journey, allowing their followers to understand some of the challenges they experienced while trying to have a child.
Miscarriages to motherhood
Reflecting on her experience, Miss Trudy acknowledged that speaking about pregnancy loss has been difficult.
“Sometimes the hardest stories to share are the ones we need to tell the most,” she said.
She said she had cried, questioned her circumstances and prayed for God to change her story.
After six miscarriages and eventually giving birth, Miss Trudy said she believes her experience is proof that God sees those going through difficult seasons.
“For every woman walking through infertility, you’re not alone,” she said, encouraging women facing similar struggles to hold on even when the waiting feels endless.
Her latest revelation gives a more personal account of one of the two pregnancies she lost in Kenya, including the painful moment she learnt that the baby was a boy.
