Marion Naipei’s partner Cedric Otieno: What we know about him so far

The 38-year-old has now shared a glimpse into his background, family life and how he came to be in a relationship with Naipei. Cedric spoke during a church service at Pastor Victor Kanyari’s church on Sunday, August 9, 2026, where he appeared alongside Naipei and openly discussed their relationship.
His comments offered some of the first public details about the man, including his age, where he lives, his position in his family and how he first tried to get Naipei’s attention.
Age and family
Cedric said he was born in 1988, making him 38 years old. He identified himself as Cedric Otieno Agolla and revealed that he is the firstborn in his family.
He also said he lives with his parents in Obama Estate.
Being the eldest child has apparently come with expectations, particularly concerning marriage. Cedric said his father has repeatedly asked him why he had not settled down and told him that his failure to marry was becoming embarrassing to the family.
He did not provide further details about his parents, siblings or upbringing during the service.
Cedric has also not publicly disclosed much about his professional life. His occupation, education, business interests and other sources of income have not been detailed in the information he shared publicly.
How Cedric pursued Marion Naipei
Cedric said he had been following Naipei on social media before they met in person.
He revealed that he tried to contact her through TikTok by sending direct messages, but his efforts initially went nowhere because Naipei did not see the messages.
“I have been following up on Naipei. And I have been following her, and I tried DMing her on TikTok, but she never saw my messages. She never used to reply,” he said.
Cedric eventually decided to meet her in person and went to her church.
He said that is where he finally met Naipei, adding that the two subsequently started dating.
“I sneaked here, and I came here to church, and that is how I met her, and we started dating,” he said.
The two appeared together during the August 9 service, with Naipei seen holding Cedric’s hand as they sat together.
Pastor Kanyari also addressed their relationship, saying the church had previously prayed for Naipei to find a partner. He said she was now “off the market” and described the relationship as an answer to those prayers.
