Laura Mbatha shares update on Natalie Githinji’s condition after hospital admission
By William Muthama, August 4, 2026Media personality Laura Mbatha has shared a fresh update on the condition of her close friend, TV presenter Natalie Githinji, who remains admitted to hospital following an endometriosis flare.
In an Instagram post on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, Laura revealed that Natalie is still unwell but is receiving medication to help manage the severe pain caused by the condition.
“She is not okay, but she has been given medication to manage the pain because, as we all know, endometriosis has no cure yet. The best they can do for now is manage the pain,” Laura said.
Despite the pain, Laura described Natalie as incredibly strong, saying she has handled the difficult situation with grace.
“She is a warrior. It’s not a pretty sight, but she carries it with so much grace,” she added.
Laura thanks Kenyans for support
Laura thanked Kenyans for the overwhelming support and prayers they have extended to Natalie since news of her hospital admission emerged. She also appreciated Nairobi Gossip Club for helping raise awareness about endometriosis.
“Thank you so much to everyone who has reached out to say pole. Every time you send your messages, I let her know because it means a lot for her to know that people are thinking of her and wishing her well,” she said.
According to Laura, Natalie is currently resting as doctors continue managing her symptoms. She assured fans that she would continue sharing updates on her recovery.
The update comes just hours after Laura informed fans that Natalie had been hospitalised and appealed for prayers on her behalf.
In her initial message, Laura revealed that the media personality was receiving treatment after suffering an endometriosis flare and promised to keep the public informed about her condition.

Endometriosis is a chronic condition in which tissue similar to the lining of the uterus grows outside the uterus.
