Content creator and comedian Kafengo has made an emotional visit to the grave of his late best friend KK Mwenyewe, sharing a heartfelt moment of remembrance.

In a post shared on Saturday, June 20, 2026, after his Naivasha road trip, Kafengo revealed that his journey took an unexpected emotional turn as he chose to stop at the gravesite and spend time with the late comedian’s family.

“Went to visit my late best friend’s grave and to visit the family. We miss our brother. Gone But Never forgotten, you will forever be in my heart. Bado nasukuma bro, continue resting in peace, Mr Kk Mwenyewe,” he wrote.

Trip cut short

He added that the day’s trip ended there, noting that he was “unable to continue” with his planned journey and would reschedule the rest of it.

Kafengo also thanked fans for their continued support during the emotional moment, saying the visit brought back many memories they shared.

“My today’s Naivasha road trip ended there; I was unable to continue. I will do it some other time, wakuu. Thank you for the continued support,” he wrote.

The visit comes a year after KK Mwenyewe passed away following a short illness. The comedian, widely known for his viral impersonations of former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, was laid to rest in Lari, Githirioni, Kiambu County.

Close friendship and collaboration

Kafengo, who shared a close personal and professional relationship with KK Mwenyewe, was actively involved during the burial arrangements and has remained close to the family

. He previously assisted in returning the late comedian’s personal belongings as a sign of respect and support.
