Actress Jackie Matubia has celebrated her daughter after she emerged as the best student overall in school, crediting the young girl’s father for giving her the brains while taking credit for her talent and athleticism.
Matubia shared a photo featuring herself, her baby’s father and their daughter as she celebrated the achievement. She used the moment to praise the qualities her daughter has, joking that the young girl got different strengths from both parents.
“Her dad gave her the brains, I gave her the talent and athleticism… God said, ‘Let me give this child the best of both worlds!’” Jackie Matubia said on Saturday, September 26, 2026.
The achievement comes days after Matubia celebrated her daughter as she took part in a school election to become Head Girl. She had earlier shared a video of the young girl confidently delivering her speech as she vied for the leadership position.

In her earlier post, Matubia expressed pride in watching her daughter take part in the school election. She said seeing her confidently deliver her speech made her feel proud as the young girl continued to grow and develop different qualities.
“Watching my daughter stand there, confidently giving her speech as she vies for Head Girl… my heart was so full,” Matubia wrote.
Matubia also described her daughter as a confident girl and a leader who was brilliant in her academics. She further pointed out her commitment to swimming, highlighting the different areas where the young girl had continued to show her abilities.
“God really blessed me with this child,” Matubia said.
Her latest post added another achievement to the celebrations surrounding her daughter. The young girl was named the best student overall in school, giving Matubia another reason to celebrate her progress.
