‘I feel whole again’ – Chiki Kuruka celebrates belated birthday with friends

In a post shared on Thursday, September 24, 2026, Chiki said she had been travelling extensively and decided to organise a garden safari after returning home.
“I am someone who truly values my friends. I’ve been travelling so much! So now that I’m back, I decided to throw a garden safari!” she said.
The celebration gave Chiki an opportunity to reconnect with her friends after spending considerable time away.
‘I feel whole again’
Chiki said being surrounded by her friends had left her feeling complete again, explaining that celebrations are meaningful to her because of the opportunity to check in on the people she cares about.
“I feel whole again!” she said, adding that she does not enjoy one of the most familiar birthday traditions.
“Notice I hate being sang for Happy Birthday,” Chiki stated.
She explained that her preference has less to do with the birthday song itself and more with what she believes celebrations should represent.
“Partly because for me parties like this are about the coming together of everyone. Checking in on everyone. Holding hands. Hugging. Laughing,” she said.
Chiki also noted that the gatherings come with “a healthy dose of trolling too,” showing the playful side of spending time with close friends.
Lynette creates garden safari aesthetic
Beyond the celebration itself, Chiki also highlighted the work that went into creating the event’s aesthetic, revealing that Lynette put everything together within 48 hours.
Chiki admitted that she often realises she needs help with events at the last minute, a habit she said some people may relate to.
“This beautiful aesthetic was put together By Lynette in 48 hours,” she said.
She went on to encourage her followers to consider booking Lynette for their own events, describing her as worth trusting and even sharing her contact number to make it easier for potential clients to reach her.
For Chiki, the belated celebration has shown that birthdays do not necessarily have to revolve around elaborate traditions. Instead, the occasion has given her a chance to reconnect, laugh and spend meaningful time with friends after months of travelling.
