Huddah Monroe makes comeback after 6 months, mocks followers over lack of progress

By , September 3, 2026

Kenyan businesswoman and social media personality Huddah Monroe has made her return to social media after staying away from the platforms for several months.

The outspoken entrepreneur returned with a cheeky message to her followers, suggesting that life had not changed much during her absence.

“I disappear for 6 months and come back online. And y’all still haven’t made any progress out of life,” Huddah wrote on Wednesday, September 2, 2026.

She appeared amused by what she found after returning, adding: “So I’m not missing much.”

Huddah then welcomed her followers back into her online world but made it clear that her presence would depend on her mood.

“Good afternoon, y’all. Enjoy me when I’m in the mood for social media,” she said.

The comeback comes months after Huddah once again stepped away from Instagram, continuing a pattern that has become familiar to her followers.

Social media break

In March 2026, Huddah deleted her entire Instagram account, leaving the platform without any posts. The move marked the third time she had wiped her account in about a decade.

Her latest disappearance began after she deleted the account on March 19, 2026. By May, she had been away from Instagram for more than a month, with her absence sparking curiosity among her followers.

Huddah has previously used social media breaks and complete account wipes as a way of resetting her online presence. In 2018, she deleted most of her Instagram content in what she described at the time as a “spiritual transition”, leaving only a few posts related to her cosmetics business.

She repeated the move in 2021, when she cleared her personal content and shifted attention towards her Huddah Cosmetics brand.

Her latest return suggests that, once again, Huddah is choosing to engage with social media on her own terms.

Rather than promising a permanent comeback, the entrepreneur appears to have set the rules herself; followers can simply enjoy her whenever she is in the mood to be online.

For now, her return has been accompanied by the same blunt humour and confidence that have long made her a notable figure on Kenyan social media.
