How Muhoozi and Natasha celebrated their father Museveni’s 82nd birthday

Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni received heartfelt birthday messages from his children as he marked his 82nd birthday, with Natasha Museveni Karugire and Muhoozi Kainerugaba publicly celebrating their father and praising his leadership.

Museveni’s daughter, Natasha Museveni Karugire, shared a warm tribute on Instagram on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, addressing her father with a message centred on faith, family and gratitude.

“To the greatest father, leader, man; may the LORD GOD continue to pour into your life from His cup of blessings. We love…” Natasha said in her birthday tribute.

Her message presented Museveni not only as a political leader but also as a father who holds an important place within the family. She wished him continued blessings while expressing the family’s love for him.

Muhoozi hails his Father

Natasha’s message was followed by a tribute from her brother, Muhoozi Kainerugaba, who also took to social media to congratulate Museveni.

Muhoozi described his father in particularly strong terms, calling him the “greatest black man that God ever created” while wishing him many more years.

“Let me be the first to congratulate the greatest black man that God ever created on his 82nd birthday. Hongera Mzee wa Kazi. May you have many more,” Muhoozi said in his message.
