Gospel singer Grace Mwai announces end of marriage to Kamuhunjia

The announcement, shared through a heartfelt Facebook post on Sunday, May 31, 2026, marked the end of a union that had attracted attention within Kenya’s gospel and entertainment circles.
In her message, Grace Mwai said the decision was reached after reflection and mutual understanding, adding that both parties had chosen to handle the transition with maturity and respect.
“After much reflection and mutual understanding, I would like to share that my MARRIAGE ENDED and have since been navigating our lives independently,” she wrote.
She further added that they remain grateful for the journey they shared and wished each other peace moving forward.
“During this time, we have approached this transition with respect, maturity, and consideration. We remain grateful for the journey we shared, grateful for the love and support you have shown us and wish each other peace and happiness moving forward.
