Daddie Marto rallies support for women battling endometriosis
By Valerian Khakayi, September 25, 2026Kenyan actor and media personality Martin Githinji, widely known as Daddie Marto, has rallied support for women living with endometriosis ahead of an event dedicated to celebrating warriors battling the condition.
Marto is set to attend Natalie’s Endometriosis Warriors (N.E.W.) event on Sunday, September 27, 2026, at the KICC COMESA Grounds in Nairobi.
Sharing a message ahead of the event, Marto called on people to come together and celebrate women whose experiences with the condition often go unseen or misunderstood.
“For every warrior whose pain has been unseen, unheard or misunderstood, this Sunday, we show up, stand together and celebrate your strength,” he said on Friday, September 25,2026.

Natalie’s endometriosis event
The event, dubbed Natalie’s Endometriosis Warriors (N.E.W), is being presented by Eric Omondi’s Sisi Kwa Sisi Initiative Kenya and Natalie Githinji’s Yellow Bold Girl Initiative.
The gathering aims to create awareness about endometriosis while empowering and celebrating women living with the condition.
The event will run from 10am to 6pm, with entry being free.
Marto is listed among the hosts alongside comedian Eric Omondi and media personality Laura Mbatha.
The event will also feature a line-up of Kenyan entertainers, making it a mix of awareness, entertainment and community support.
Among the artistes listed to perform are Nadia Mukami, Bensoul, Arrow Bwoy, Maandy, X.O, Ndovu Kuu, Size 8, Guardian Angel, Bahati, Fena Gitu, Dyana Cods and Iyaani.
Other performers include VK Okello, Max C, Blue, Tesla, Tipsy Gee, Charisma and Diana B, while DJ Pierra is also set to entertain guests.

Natalie Githinji’s endometriosis advocacy
The event comes days after media personality Natalie Githinji, who has openly shared her experience living with endometriosis, encouraged fellow warriors to be patient with themselves during their healing journeys.
Natalie recently reminded women that recovery does not follow the same timeline for everyone, urging them to listen to their bodies and emotions rather than compare their progress with others.
“The recovery journey is not the same for everyone, so give yourself time, patience, and grace,” Natalie said in a recent message.
She also urged women not to compare their healing journeys, saying, “Don’t compare your healing to someone else’s timeline. Permit yourself to heal at your own pace.”
With Marto and several other Kenyan entertainers expected at the event, Natalie’s Endometriosis Warriors seeks to bring together awareness, empowerment and entertainment while celebrating women navigating the condition.
