Cristiano Ronaldo gifts IShowSpeed his rare World Cup golden boots
By William Muthama, July 11, 2026Cristiano Ronaldo has gifted American streamer and YouTuber IShowSpeed one of the rarest pieces of football memorabilia in existence: a pair of his personal Nike Mercurial Superfly 11 “CR7 Gold Scorpion” boots worn during Portugal’s 2026 FIFA World Cup campaign.
The emotional presentation took place during the 2026 FIFA World Cup quarter-final between Spain and Belgium on Friday, July10,2026 just days after Portugal’s 1-0 defeat to Spain in the Round of 16, which brought Ronaldo’s World Cup journey to an end.
One of Ronaldo’s representatives personally presented the boots to Speed, revealing that they were among only two special sample pairs ever made for the Portuguese superstar.
“There’s only you and one other person in the entire world that have these boots. And he played with them in the World Cup,” the representative told Speed during the livestream.
Visibly overwhelmed, Speed struggled to believe what he had just received.
“Ronaldo’s gifting me his own boots. There’s only two of these made in the whole world,” he said.
The boots are Ronaldo’s exclusive Nike Mercurial Superfly 11 “CR7 Gold Scorpion” samples, created specifically for his 2026 World Cup campaign.
Unlike the retail Gold Scorpion boots released to fans, the pair gifted to Speed is one of Ronaldo’s own game-worn samples, making it one of the rarest football collectables in the world.
Receiving one of Ronaldo’s personal World Cup boots only days later turned heartbreak into an unforgettable moment.
“Ronaldo, I love you. I thank you so much. I’m going to cherish these boots. I’m going to play well in my next match,” Speed said.
He also promised to wear the boots during training before preserving them as one of the most treasured items in his collection.
