Cop Shakur urges fans to make his birthday contributions towards Natalie Githinji’s endometriosis fight

In a post shared on his Instagram page on Thursday, August 27, 2026, Cop Shakur said many people had asked how they could celebrate his special day. Instead of receiving gifts, he asked his followers to direct their support towards Githinji’s treatment and help her continue with her medical journey.
The content creator said he had chosen to use his birthday to draw attention to Githinji’s ongoing battle with the condition, expressing confidence that she would overcome it. “Natalie is still battling endometriosis, and she is going to win this fight,” he wrote.
He went on to explain why he would prefer contributions towards Githinji’s treatment to personal birthday gifts. “So, if you were wondering what you could give me for my birthday, your contribution towards Natalie’s journey would mean more to me than any gift,” he added.
Cop Shakur also encouraged his followers to stand with Githinji as she continues seeking treatment. “Let’s stand with Natalie. Let’s help her win,” he said.
Eric Omondi launches Endometriosis campaign
Cop Shakur’s appeal comes days after comedian and activist Eric Omondi announced a campaign aimed at supporting women living with endometriosis while also standing with Githinji.
Omondi announced in a video shared on his Instagram page on Sunday, August 23, 2026, after visiting Githinji in hospital.
He said an event will be held at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) on September 27, where Githinji will be unveiled as an ambassador for endometriosis awareness in East Africa.
The campaign will bring together women living with the condition and those seeking information about it.
Omondi said the initiative will focus on creating awareness, supporting women undergoing treatment and encouraging young girls and women to seek medical attention and get tested.
Natalie’s endometriosis journey
Githinji has for years used her public platform to speak about her experience with endometriosis and the challenges that come with the condition.
The media personality has openly discussed the pain she has experienced and has encouraged women dealing with persistent menstrual pain and other symptoms to seek medical attention.
Through social media posts and interviews, she has also helped keep conversations around endometriosis in the public space.
