Auntie Jemimah turns 37, embraces a new chapter of choosing herself

In a message shared on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, to celebrate the milestone, Jemimah said she was proud of the different seasons of her life, including the highs and lows that have shaped her.
“37. And baby, I am absolutely obsessed with the woman I have become,” she said.
Looking back on her journey, Jemimah acknowledged the experiences that have contributed to her growth, noting that she has gone through moments of love, loss, learning, and starting over.
“I have lived, loved, lost, learnt, laughed, started over, and somehow kept becoming MORE of myself,” she said.
While she expressed gratitude for her experiences, Jemimah jokingly admitted that there were some difficult moments she would have preferred to avoid.
“I wouldn’t have chosen to do this life any differently; okay, maybe reduce some lows tondú Wuew!” she said.
Despite the challenges, Jemimah said she had learned to appreciate every chapter of her life and the lessons that came with it.
“I have loved the highs, I have embraced the lows, and every season has shaped the woman I am today,” she said.
As she enters her 37th year, Jemimah said she was intentionally prioritising herself and embracing the person she has grown into.
“At 37, I’m choosing me loudly, unapologetically and with so much gratitude,” she said.
Her birthday message also celebrated the different qualities she associates with her journey, from resilience and softness to what she described as the “madness” and “magic” of life.

She ended her reflection by expressing love and appreciation for her life while celebrating the woman she has become.
“I love me. I love this life. I love the woman I’ve become,” she said.
