5 years later, look at God: Kevin Kinuthia reflects on his one-bedroom days
By Valerian Khakayi, September 7, 2026Five years ago, Kenyan cross-dressing content creator and influencer Kevin Kinuthia was living in a modest one-bedroom house, a far cry from the lavish mansions he now regularly showcases on social media.
Kinuthia, on Monday, September 7, 2026, shared a video he recently came across of himself cleaning the small house and said watching the footage gave him a moment to reflect on his journey and the progress he has made over the years.
“I came across this video from 5 years ago, cleaning my little one-bedroom house, and honestly… I had to pause and reflect,” he said.
At the time, Kinuthia admitted that he did not have much, but he had faith, a dream and the determination to keep pursuing his goals.
“I may not have had much back then, but I had faith, a dream, and the courage to keep going. Looking at how far God has brought me today, I can only say, “THANK YOU, GOD,” he added.
Today, Kinuthia’s lifestyle presents a striking contrast to the one-bedroom days he remembers.

The content creator currently lives in a lavish mansion and has often given his followers glimpses of his homes and lifestyle through social media. His various relocations have also seen him move from one mansion to another, with his new spaces often featuring prominently in his content.
The transformation from cleaning a small one-bedroom house five years ago to living in the luxurious homes he now showcases is a journey Kinuthia appears proud of, with his latest reflection centred on gratitude and perseverance.
He also used his experience to encourage people who may currently be going through their own difficult seasons not to give up.
“If you’re watching this while you’re in your own ‘one-bedroom season’, please don’t give up. Your current situation is not the final chapter. Keep working, keep believing, keep praying, and trust the process. One day, you’ll look back and realise just how far you’ve come,” Kinuthia said.

He described himself as living proof that people can move beyond humble beginnings and achieve things they once only imagined.
“I’m living proof that God can take you from where you are and bring you somewhere you never imagined. The journey may be slow, but God is never late,” he said.
Kinuthia concluded his reflection by celebrating the progress made over the past five years, writing, “5 years later… look at God.”
His message resonated with the idea that one’s current circumstances do not have to determine their future, as he encouraged his followers to keep working, believing and trusting the process.
