Celebrities dress to impress as Eko Dydda hosts lavish birthday concert and album launch

The event, held at the Christ Embassy Church headquarters on Shimo La Tewa Road off Mombasa Road, attracted a wide array of celebrities, TikTok personalities, and music enthusiasts from across the city.
The celebration was marked by elegance, glamour, and a seemingly coordinated theme of white. Almost every guest, especially the TikTokers in attendance, opted for white outfits, giving the venue a strikingly uniform and stylish look.
Leading the TikTok contingent was Rachael Otuoma, who arrived with her close friends Bancy and Kawira, all dressed in crisp white ensembles, adding youthful vibrancy and energy to the evening.
The event kicked off with a grand red-carpet entrance, as Dydda walked in alongside his sons, instantly drawing the attention of media and attendees.
Dydda and his sons, dressed in immaculate white suits, looked jubilant as they posed for photographs, setting the tone for the evening’s celebrations.
A standout moment came when Dyda’s children performed an electrifying dance routine to some of their father’s top hits, wowing the crowd with sleek and energetic moves.
Among the high-profile guests were Dyda’s gospel colleagues, including Moji Short Baba, Guardian Angel and his wife, Esther Musila.
Guardian Angel made a statement in a custom blue tracksuit, while budding singer Stivo Simple Boy delivered a lively beat performance that kept the audience entertained.
Dancehall singer Timmy T-Dat also graced the event, accompanied by a sharply dressed woman, further adding to the star-studded atmosphere.
Other notable Kenyans who attended the concert included outspoken TikToker Obidan Dela, who took time to share how Eko Dydda has inspired many generations with his songs.
He also highlighted that Eko Dydda was turning 40 and emphasised the importance of celebrating such a milestone in every possible way, noting that reaching this age is no easy feat.
“Eko Dyda is one of our legends, and we listen to and love his songs; that’s why we are here to support him. We are also here to support God. Today, he is also marking his 40th birthday, and to reach 40 is not easy; it’s a major milestone,” he shared.
