Carol Katrue opens up on what’s next after breakup with Miracle Baby

Speaking on the matter during an interview with a local radio station on Thursday, February 19, 2026, Carol maintained that neither she nor her former partner would use the breakup to seek attention online.
She said their separation was genuine and not part of any strategy to trend or promote projects.
“We are not, and we cannot, clout chase using the end of our relationship,” she said.
The influencer also revealed that the controversy surrounding the split affected her professional plans.
She disclosed that she had collaborated with Waithaka wa Jane on a project that was initially scheduled for release in February. However, due to online claims that the breakup and the collaboration were connected for clout, they decided to postpone the release to March.
“Even the collaboration I did with Waithaka wa Jane had people saying I was clout chasing, which is not true. We were supposed to release it in February, but we had to postpone it to March,” she added.
According to Carol, there has been a growing tendency among social media users to label many celebrity moves as clout chasing, a perception she said influenced the decision to delay the collaboration.
She insisted that the project had no connection to her breakup and that the timing was purely coincidental.
“I feel like people really want to label everything as clout chasing, and that is also why we decided to hold the collaboration. But it is not clout chasing at all, and I am now very single,” she shared.
Carol went on to confirm that she is currently single following the split. However, when asked whether communication between her and Miracle Baby is ongoing, she said she could not confirm the status of their interactions.
“As for whether communication between Miracle Baby and me is continuing, I cannot confirm that. However, I did see that he released a song seemingly throwing shade at me,” she said.
