Butita celebrates girlfriend’s birthday with a romantic message

In a heartfelt social media post shared on Sunday, February 1, 2026, Eddie thanked God for blessing his life with Celeste and expressed his love and admiration for her.

Butita went on to hint at a bright future for the couple, showing fans a rare glimpse into his affectionate side.

A relationship kept private
The couple officially went public with their romance in July 2025. For nearly a year prior, Eddie had deliberately kept their relationship out of the public eye, choosing to nurture it away from cameras and social media.
Speaking in an interview with SPM Buzz, Butita opened up about being secretive about his love life. He revealed that while he is in a romantic relationship, his girlfriend prefers to stay off social media.
“Niko na dem, mimi niko na dem, mimi nakakuwa single? Dem yangu hapendi publicity hataki ni mpost,” he explained.
When asked about the photos of women he posts online, Eddie clarified that they are just friends and that his girlfriend is understanding.
“Those are friends, and my girlfriend is accommodating; she tells me, ‘Hang out with girls so that you can understand me,’” he said.
Butita described his girlfriend as the love of his life and expressed pride in being a “present boyfriend”, giving fans a glimpse into the happiness the couple shares in this new chapter.
