‘Brains like this inspire confidence’ – Andrew Kibe speaks out after meeting Kasmuel
By Charles Ouma, January 29, 2026Social media personality Andrew Kibe has given his unfiltered reaction after meeting activist-turned politician, Kasmuel McOure.
In a post on social media on Thursday, February 29, 2026, Kibe revealed that he met Kasmuel and did a podcast with the youthful Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) politician.
The social media personality said that he was impressed, heaping praises on Kasmuel, who he described as a brilliant young man.
“Did a podcast with this brilliant young man,” he said, leaving no doubt that Kasmuel impressed during their interaction.
According to Kibe, brains like Kasmuel’s inspire confidence in him that the future is secure.

He also wished the political activist well amid the ongoing storm facing ODM, with sharp differences of opinion emerging and rival factions taking shape.
“The future is secure with brains like this. Look out for this one coming out real soon. Keep winning.”
The rise of Kasmuel
Kasmuel shot to the limelight during the protests sparked by the Finance Bill in June 2024 and the period that followed.
His eloquence and fierce activism propelled him to prominence, with social media catalysing his rise.

He did interviews with several media stations, clearly articulating facts and rallying behind the protesters.
Kasmuel was also on the streets for a while, with his presence firing up protesters.
From street protests to hanging out with the political elite
In a surprising turn of events, the youthful activist warmed up to the charm of the country’s political elite and joined the Orange Democratic Movement party.
This saw the situation change rapidly as his presence during protests did not elicit the same reaction, but he remained resilient and showed up for subsequent protests nonetheless.

In March 2025, Kasmuel joined activists and Kenyans at large to demand swift action as cases of femicide surged in the country.
His sudden change of turn sparked both criticism and praise as he began hanging out with politicians who he criticised not long ago.
He was photographed at events with Kapseret Member of Parliament Oscar Sudi, President William Ruto and former Prime Minister Raila Odinga.
