Bolo Bespoke shows off custom-made suit for ‘Kwa Mbae’ boy ahead of charity fundraiser
By Steve Ireri, April 25, 2026Fashion designer Bolo Bespoke has showcased a rare custom-made suit, intended as a special gift for Tharaka-Nithi boy Musa Kihara, who went viral after a video of him confidently giving directions spread widely online.
In a video shared on TikTok on Friday, April 24, 2026, Bolo is seen posing alongside the young boy and his new guardian, Obidan Dela, inside his CBD shop, while speaking warmly and affectionately about the boy and his journey since going viral.
He is also seen in the company of his wife, Mueni, who speaks positively about the future of the ‘Kwa Mbae’ boy before the official unveiling of the suit.
The suit is a four-piece design, blue in colour, and features intricate white embellishments around the shoulder area, giving it a premium and elegant finish.
He added that the navy blue colour choice reflects his design preference and further explained that he sees no need to overemphasise or brag about making the suit, saying that is not his style or approach.
“So I will give him a simple thing. It is navy blue in colour. And that is my way of doing my work nicely, but remember that I do not and never brag,” he says.
Emotional promise
In a heartfelt message shared after the meeting on Thursday, April 23, 2026, Bolo described how deeply moved he was upon seeing the boy for the first time, noting that he immediately recognised him as a bright child with a promising future and a successful man in the making.

He explained that the encounter left him emotionally overwhelmed, prompting him to reflect on how he could personally make a difference in the boy’s life.
“The moment I looked at him, I saw a bright boy with a bright future, a very successful man in the making. My heart felt so heavy and emotional, and I found myself asking God what I could do for this boy,” Bolo wrote.
He revealed that the moment stirred a strong sense of responsibility in him, leading him to make a firm decision that he, together with others, must step in to support the child.
He emphasised the need to stand with the boy, guide him, and walk with him through his journey, stressing that such support should be deliberate and consistent.
“And I vowed that we must help this boy and hold his hand. We must stand with him and support him,” he added.
