Baba Talisha in shock after friend dies in road accident on his way to work
TikToker Faustine Lipuku, popularly known as Baba Talisha, has expressed shock and grief following the sudden death of a close friend who was killed in a road accident along Nairobi’s Northern Bypass.
In a Facebook post on Thursday, April 30, 2026, Baba Talisha revealed that the deceased, identified as Alain Nshirimana, was a carwash attendant based in Thome, where he worked at a facility located next to Jaggy Pure Kienyeji Chicken.
According to Baba Talisha, he had last visited the carwash on Sunday as part of his routine, only to find that his friend was not present at work.
Upon enquiring, he was informed by colleagues that the young man had not yet reported to work but was expected to arrive later.
“What a sad day. This boy right here was a very good friend. He used to wash cars at the carwash next to Jaggy Pure Kienyeji Chicken in Thome. On Sunday, I passed by the carwash as usual to wash my car, and I found he was not there. When I asked his colleagues, they said he had not come to work, but he was on the way,” he wrote.

However, the situation took a tragic turn when he later received a direct message on Instagram informing him that the young man had passed away.
He disclosed that the deceased had been hit by a vehicle near the Windsor area, just after Habanos along the Northern Bypass, while on his way to work that same day.
The impact of the accident was fatal, with reports indicating that he died on the spot.
Baba Talisha described the news as deeply shocking, noting that the loss had left him struggling to come to terms with the reality of what had happened.
“Today I received a DM on my Instagram account that the young man had passed away. They were hit by a car near Windsor, just after Habanos on the Northern Bypass, while coming to work that same day, and they died on the spot,” Baba T added.
He also revealed that the deceased was not a Kenyan national but hailed from Burundi, adding another layer of sorrow to the tragic incident.
The content creator reflected on the fragility of life, urging people to appreciate each moment, as such unexpected tragedies can occur without warning.
“I am still shocked. Life is fragile. The boy is not Kenyan; he comes from Burundi. Rest in peace, Alain Nshirimana. Unbelievable,” he added.
