Amira encourages women to ignore society’s opinions and choose happiness

Content creator Amira has encouraged women to stop living according to society’s expectations and instead focus on their own happiness.

She explained that women are often judged no matter the path they choose. According to Amira, society always finds something negative to say about women’s personal decisions.
“This world will shame a single mother and also shame a woman for not being a mother,” Amira said.
Amira also spoke about the pressure women face around motherhood and age. She noted that even when women choose to have children, they still face criticism from people around them.
“It shames the girl who has a baby at 18, calling her ‘Too Young’ and the woman who has one at 38 calling her ‘Too Old,’” she explained.
Different standards women face
The social media personality also addressed the pressure surrounding marriage. She said women continue to face judgment whether they settle down early or later in life.
“It shames the one who marries early and also the one who marries late,” Amira stated.
Amira further touched on beauty standards and body image. She explained that women are criticised for keeping their natural appearance, while others are also attacked for changing their looks through surgery.
“It shames natural bodies and also the ones who choose surgery,” she said.
She encouraged women not to allow negative opinions to control their lives. According to Amira, people will always have something to say regardless of what someone does.
“The world will keep barking,” Amira said.
Amira ended her message by encouraging women to confidently choose what makes them happy. She urged them to stop seeking approval from society and instead focus on loving themselves.
“So love yourselves loudly. Make yourselves happy anyway,” she said.
