The confusion
The confusion began when CNN mistakenly published a video titled “Remembering the life of actor Michael J. Fox,” which has since been removed.
A CNN spokesperson apologised, saying the piece was “published in error” and offered apologies to Fox and his family.

Diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 1991, Fox has been open about his journey living with the neurodegenerative condition.
He recently told People magazine, “You take the good, and you seize it. I wake up and get the message of what the day is gonna be like, and I try to adjust to it.”
The actor shares four children with his wife, Tracy Pollan, and continues to work on projects while managing his health.
