Multitalented musician Wilson Radido, widely known as Willy Paul, has responded to Ugandan boxer and husband to socialite Zarina Hassan, Shakib Cham Lutaaya’s challenge for a boxing match, making it clear that he is not interested in fighting him.

In a video shared on his Instagram page on Monday, September 1, 2025, Willy Paul said he could not take on Shakib because his wife is one of his loyal fans.

“My brother Shakib, I cannot fight you because Zari is my fan! The only person I hate from your family is the guy who calls himself ‘lion, ‘” Willy Paul responded.

@shakib_cham , Polite Notice… It’s My Birthday Don’t Play Like That!! @zarithebosslady is a Very Loyal Fan Of Pozze.”

Arrow Bwoy’s response

Apart from Pozze, singer Arrow Bwoy also responded to Shakib’s request by confirming that he is ready to face him.

In a video shared on his Instagram account, Arrow Bwoy revealed that he came across Shakib’s challenge while scrolling through social media, where the Ugandan entertainer had called out Kenyan celebrities for a boxing showdown.

“I was just scrolling through my social media on Instagram and saw a post that this guy from Uganda, Shakib, is trying to challenge any Kenyan artiste for a boxing match. Let me tell you, I have been yearning for this, and now the opportunity has presented itself. I am fully ready for the challenge,” he said.

“My message to Shakib is, please do not bring your wife, Zari Hassan, because she might faint, and we could have a double tragedy. I do not want that to happen to this beautiful lady. Zari, if you are hearing this, just send your husband to come and collect the beating himself,” Arrow Bwoy added.

Shakib’s request

Willy Paul and Arrow Bwoy’s message follows Shakib’s appearance on the Three Truths No Lie podcast, where he openly expressed his desire to face a Kenyan celebrity in the ring.

The invitation came just days after Shakib suffered a dramatic knockout loss in Uganda during a celebrity boxing match against singer Rickman, a defeat that left his wife Zari in tears.

Shakib had stated on the podcast that he was seeking a serious fight with high-profile Kenyan personalities, suggesting that such a bout would generate significant attention and entertainment.

Among the suggested potential opponents were Khaligraph Jones, and Eric Omondi, with Shakib emphasising that the fight had to be taken seriously and that training was essential.

“Kenyan promoters out there, if you know that there is anybody that I can challenge in a boxing match, let’s make it happen,” Shakib had said.
