Content creators Milly and Kabi Wa Jesus are celebrating the arrival of their baby girl, Luxe, in a touching reveal shared on Monday, January 20, 2025.
The couple’s announcement has melted hearts as they have been sharing each step of their pregnancy journey online, including when Milly was in labour.
Milly delivered baby Luxe at Nairobi West Hospital after excruciating labour, as seen in videos shared on their YouTube page.
In a caption to one of the clips, Milly reflected on the nine-month journey and described it as truly the Lord’s doing.
Labour
The flashy couple had booked a whole room to themselves at Nairobi West Hospital and, throughout the period from when Milly’s labour started to when she gave birth, they had been recording the developments.
In one of the raw videos, Milly is seen clinging to her husband while wearing a blue hospital gown.
The two were standing, with Milly resting her head on her husband’s shoulder as she made shrill sounds of pain, while Kabi continued to pat her belly.
The video was set to a melancholic gospel song, and fans flooded the comments section with tender messages, saying they were praying she would deliver safely.
Baby arrives
In just a span of about two hours, the couple released another video of them holding their new bundle of joy and unveiling the lofty plans they had for her and how happy they were.
The video was a slideshow of photos—some of Milly alone in bed and others of her with Kabi as they held the baby.
Taking to Instagram on the same day, Kabi asked their fans to help welcome the baby and announced that her name was Luxe. He marvelled at how much she resembled her mom and thanked everyone who had supported them throughout the journey.
“Help us welcome baby Luxe into the world. She is absolutely perfect. Yaani anafanana tu na mamake. We can never take for granted the blessing of carrying a pregnancy and giving birth—it’s truly a miracle.”
Luxe’s lavish baby shower
Days before welcoming Luxe, Milly and Kabi threw an extravagant all-white baby shower at an exclusive golf course.
The dreamy setting included a tranquil dam and picturesque surroundings, but it was the spectacular reveal that stole the show.
A helicopter hovered overhead, showering pink confetti as fireworks illuminated the celebration.
Friends and family erupted in cheers as the couple danced and embraced, marking the announcement of their baby girl in style.
The couple also revealed their daughter’s nickname, ‘Mrs. Ng’ang’a’, a nod to their family heritage.
Fans and netizens have since flooded the couple with congratulatory messages, praising their deep love for each other and their glamorous celebrations.
Looking ahead
This year, Milly will turn 32, and she has previously shared her dreams of growing her family further. Speaking at her 30th birthday celebration, she revealed she was eager to add over three more children before getting older.
“One of my greatest milestones in my 20s is my children. So when I got to the party and didn’t see them, I immediately told my love to organize for them to join. I was so happy they made it,” Milly said at the time. She also hinted that baby Luxe might not be their last, with time still on her side to expand the family further.
