In the video, the artist is seen camping at night outside the governor’s office while explaining how long he had been there seeking help from dawn till night.
“Dark days and nights!! Urgently need help; things are not okay,” Kioko cried out.
He went on describing how his efforts to talk to the governor about the debts owed to him bore no fruit after some people played a part in shutting down his efforts.
“Kutoka asubuhi nimekua hapa kwa ofisi ya governor hapa White House, and imagine I just want to see the governor, but there are people who have made sure I cannot see the governor,” Kioko said.
The comedian could not hold back his frustrations, describing how affected he has been because of the debt owed to him.
“Kuna watu hawatambui msanii jamani; things are not okay. I just need to see the governor,” Kioko added.

Kioko’s message to governor
On the other hand, the comedian, while calling out the county government, further explained how he got an opportunity to supply to the county government, which he did, and completed the task.
However, despite completing the task within the stipulated time, Kioko revealed that the county government has not paid him his dues for at least two years now.
“Kazi sisi tulimaliza, it’s been long. Ama watu huwa mnasupply kwa county government jamani, kwani huwa inafaa kuchukua miaka ngapi ndio mtu alipwe?” Kioko explained.

The comedian called on the governor to come to his rescue and help fast-track the payment after many pushbacks from the county officials, who he said have often asked him to come back the following day for two years in a row.
“Hii yetu imeenda sana, and what we need now ni kuongea na governor tuangalie kama governor anaweza kutusaidia, kwa sababu hawa watu wa chini kila mtu ni kuja kesho, kuja kesho, hii kuja kesho mwaka moja, kuja kesho mwaka mbili, kuja kesho?” Kioko added.
