Robert Burale opens up on reason he broke up with Alex Mwakideu’s sister Rosina

Speaking on Friday, September 26, 2025, Burale confirmed that Alex Mwakideu is his former brother-in-law, noting that their families enjoyed a warm relationship during the time of his marriage.
He described Rosina as a remarkable woman of faith, a devoted mother, and someone he continues to hold in the highest regard.
“People do not know that Alex Mwakideu is my former brother-in-law because I was married to his sister Rosina. They are a wonderful family, and we shared a great time together. Even Alex knows, but out of respect, he has never really spoken about it. Rosina was an amazing woman, a true woman of God and a loving mother,” he said.
He said that their breakup was not a result of animosity or negativity, but rather a case of two good people coming together at a time that may not have been right.
Burale stressed that he has never viewed Rosina as a bad woman and maintains deep respect for her character and contributions as a wife and mother.
“The reason we broke up is that sometimes two good people come together too early, and it simply does not work out. I can never say she was a bad woman, that would be a lie. I have always said, and I will repeat it here, that she is a very respectable woman. I also made mistakes in the marriage, and I take responsibility for that,” Burale added.
According to him, one of the biggest mistakes they made as a couple was allowing too many external voices into their marriage.
He explained that inviting outsiders into their private matters only complicated issues, as not everyone who appeared supportive genuinely wished for their union to succeed.
“The biggest mistake we made as a couple was allowing too many people to interfere in our marriage.”
Cordial relationship
Despite their separation, he noted that he and Rosina have maintained a cordial and respectful relationship over the years.
He recalled attending a church service where Rosina was present, adding that their interaction was warm and dignified, a reflection of the mutual respect they continue to share.
“I always tell people, do not let everyone into your private issues, because some who call themselves friends do not really want you to succeed. Despite everything, I still respect my ex-wife Rosina. I even went to minister in their church where she was present, and we spoke. We have maintained a very respectful relationship,” Burale shared.
