Robert Burale: If you die people will forget you within 7 days

By , November 22, 2025

Motivational speaker and minister of the gospel Robert Burale has delivered a deep message to men who are navigating difficult and emotionally draining seasons in their lives.

In his post shared on Instagram on Saturday, November 22, 2025, Burale spoke about the quiet battles that many men endure and used a striking metaphor to illustrate how quickly society moves on when someone gives up and disappears from life’s daily rhythm.

He explained that there are seasons a man walks through that feel overwhelmingly heavy, offering him only two paths, and it is during such moments of deep struggle that he may feel tempted to withdraw completely.

“There are seasons a man must go through that give you TWO options ONLY …You either DIE or SURVIVE,” Burale wrote.

He reflected on the harsh reality that when a person reaches the point of giving up entirely, the world rarely pauses long enough to notice, adding that people often forget someone within a very short period, sometimes within just seven days, before shifting their attention elsewhere.

He used this reality to emphasise the importance of resilience, urging men to push through their lowest moments rather than allowing themselves to fade into the background of life.

According to him, choosing to rise again after a difficult stretch is what allows a man to return stronger, wiser, and more grounded, while choosing to surrender only creates room for the world to continue without him.

“If you die…. we forget you within 7 days … If you survive, you come back STRONGER. To all MEN…. I know there are moments you want to pack it in and say “TO HELL…WELL NOT TODAY. GET UP AND WIN,” Burale added.

People to avoid

The counsel by the gospel minister comes just days after he outlined the kinds of people one must avoid in life to move forward and succeed.

Speaking on Friday, November 7, 2025, about the importance of personal growth and positive company, Burale said that the people you surround yourself with can either lift you or hold you back.

He explained that while everyone meets different kinds of people throughout their journey, not all are meant to stay in one’s life.

“In life, you get to meet different kinds of people. But for you to meet to the next level, there are types of people you must avoid with everything you have,” he said.

Burale described the first group of people one should avoid as those who always speak negatively about others.

He said that people who respond to someone’s name with gossip or bad talk should be kept at a distance.

“Number 1, avoid these kinds of people. At the mention of somebody’s name, the first thing that comes out of their mouth is negativity or gossip,” he warned.
