Pritty Vishy reveals frustration after Cashmeer’s wedding switches to project launch
By Steve Ireri, August 10, 2025Social media influencer Pritty Vishy has expressed sharp disappointment and amusement after attending what was billed as Cashmeer Sayyid’s wedding of the year, only to discover it was instead the launch of a personal project.
The event, held on Saturday, August 9, 2025, drew a star-studded guest list, with many celebrities arriving in extravagant outfits prepared for a grand wedding.
Among them was Pritty Vishy, who had gone all out for the occasion. However, the night took an unexpected twist when Cashmeer revealed that there was no wedding, explaining that the hype was a deliberate ploy to spotlight her school launch and share her powerful survival story.
In a video shared on her Instagram stories on the same day, Vishy was heard laughing loudly alongside a friend as she reflected on the surprising turn of events.
She revealed that despite still nursing the pain from her recent Brazilian Butt Lift surgery, she had made a grand effort to show up for the event, especially with Cashmeer building up enormous hype around it. In the end, she admitted feeling thoroughly duped.
“Nikakuja adi na kidonda! Kumbe hata hakuna wedding,” she quipped, which roughly means, “I came all dolled up, rocking an unhealed wound, only to find out there was no wedding at all!”

In a follow-up clip, Pritty and her friend were caught laughing uncontrollably outside the venue, unable to contain their amusement at the sheer letdown they had just experienced.
Even after catching a cab home, her laughter persisted as she insisted Cashmeer had played them all for fools, with no one anticipating that the grand affair would not be a wedding.
“Cashmeer, you really had us twisted. My friend is fuming mad about the whole thing, but me, with my surgeries, I’m just here laughing. This thing dey shock me,” she declared amid bursts of laughter.
Cashmeer Sayyid had initially claimed she was marrying a Congolese man, which heightened anticipation and curiosity around the event.
Instead, she used the platform to unveil a school inspired by her own childhood trauma and struggles, turning the evening into a moment of advocacy and empowerment rather than matrimony.
“What happened to me in childhood is why I have launched this school. That trauma we have now monetised it. I was so scared of people knowing I was a dropout but now I am a software engineer,” she said.

She added that her claim of marrying a Congolese man was also meant to kill two birds with one stone by sparking public conversation about injustices happening in Congo while also revisiting the fact that, as a child, she had been destined to become a second wife without choice.
While some guests felt misled, many applauded Cashmeer’s bravery in transforming her painful past into a positive project aimed at helping others.
